Colonial Newspapers

and printed them on

parchment paper.

 

Just before Thanksgiving,

groups of 7th Graders

learned to

add and multiply using formulas in

Microsoft Excel. 

They researched food prices and calculated the cost of

Thanksgiving Dinner.

 

Several classes created

Wordles (http://www.wordle.net/)

to help them learn vocabulary.

The 6th Grade's theme was

Colonial America.

The 7th Grade used words and phrases from the Nicene Creed.

were busy before Thanksgiving making cookbooks

with their own original recipes

which they presented to

Of course we practice

typing in Computer Class,

but we learn a lot of other

things, too! Some of my

favorites are using Paint to

create tessellations,

creating our own animated cartoons with sound effects, learning to do math with formulas in Excel, creating interactive multiple choice tests in PowerPoint and

making word search puzzles

in Excel.
